The route begins at the Salto Grande sector and follows the shore-side path toward Mirador Cuernos. It passes the waterfall area and open ground above Lago Nordenskjöld before reaching the lookout across the lake. Salto Grande is on the approach, while Mirador Cuernos is the principal destination of this record.

About the moderate grade: Half to full day with sustained climbs. Up to ~800 m of gain, sections of loose rock or wind exposure. Requires solid base fitness.
